I trained his son Stewart in the Willaston ABC boxing club, when he joined the club and told me his name, I said are you from New Brighton and immediately asked him was corporal Stewart McLaughlin any relation and said to me it was my Dad and young Stewart said he was born in the June 82 and Stewart died on the 12th June 82. I've always had a fascination with the Parachute Regiment and the Falklands. I went on the 4th Parachute Regiment A company cadre back in 1990 and had to leave because of my hearing on medical issues so i didn't get to earn the famous maroon beret or wings. Didn't know they brought corporal Stewart McLauglin's back to the wirral. Will have to visit and pay my respects 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🙏🙏🙏🕊🕊🕊

Any update on the promenade from the pier head , to allow us to walk along the river to the ground. It’s been partially completed , but suspect need of a new bridge by the dockers clock . Will be a great walk in the summer , perhaps less so forva January night match 😉

Hello Paul. Thank you for following the demolition of the Duncan Building. There has been some terrific coverage of this from yourself, and several other, equally as dedicated vloggers. Watching this being built as a child, working on it in my 30s, and now watching its final demise in my late 60's, I find very sad. I think the architects, designers, labourers and tradesmen, of all descriptions who engineered and built it, all deserve credit.

What a wonderful, smart, and rightfully proud group of men and women.

I’ve got a photo of the Duncan Building being constructed in 1973. Love your videos of the demolition and Bramley Moore construction.

LoR have started to mount the dark-grey aluminium sold panels on the overhang canopy at the south-end of the mezzanine. The roofers have started laying the Polycarbonate on the East Stand from the northern end. They've rebuilt the chimney on the central Tower of the southern Regent Road Gates (I am curious as to when and how they are going to repeat the process at the Northern Gates, as it has become the main vehicular access. You'd have thought that would have been done before the access point was switched).

Paul, thanks for struggling with the wind to bring us this. I have never doubted your dedication and commitment to bringing us the best quality review of the BMD project each weekend-(ish) but may I make a hopefully-positive suggestion, which I stress is NOT a criticism? Whilst it's good to just record the current status I think the bulk of your viewers are always looking for developments. The brick facades areas of the stadium walls (particularly the East and North Stands) have been 'static' and permanent for quite a long while now. Views of the brick facades from a distance reveal the current status and close-ups of them don't 'add' anything that isn't already known. You could use your time and batteries better, perhaps, by concentrating a little more on the foreground of the stadium walls and what's happening above the facades. Please know I always look forward to your footage as more often than not I learn something and get insight as to what is likely to be happening during the following week. Have a great day.

Great video as always Paul ( soundtrack always superb ) When you look at this amazing piece of architecture going up, it's not surprising that there are now a few interested parties in buying the club - this venue will be as iconic as Goodison Park was back in it's heyday .

I wonder how many sets of kit they have on the go , they probably lead frog locations. From what I have seen on UA-cam its a massive production so a long load in and load out for each venue will be needed.

Hi Paul, hope you and your family are well. Love the slow transition from left to right at the beginning... the stand looks amazing now basically complete. I do hope that somebody is subcontracted in to power-wash the façade of the brickwork. I would have thought that the stage would have been better suited at The Kop end so that more could be seated, and get an uninterrupted and elevated view of the performance, and take advantage of the hospitality. However, they may have done it this way for the access and egress of fans, and so that Taylor, her management, the production staff and the crew can enjoy the hospitality of the new Anfield Road stand, additionally, the Anfield Road end may be better suited for Taylor's quick access and egress of the venue into the walled off area of the car park, OR her limo may end up being parked in where the Liverpool coach enters on matchdays. I used to be a steward, some of the times, the star was out of the venue and gone, before people were let out of the venues for safety. Have you got any good projects coming up?

Great Video Paul. I'm loving the progress of this Stadium. It'll make a huge difference once the Barrel Cladding had been finished on the West Stand.
